Editor’s note: Al Doran is a pioneer in world of men’s fastball. His website, “Al’s Fastball” has become a mainstay and favorite of fastball players and fans around the world. My friend Kyle Smith once told me “I like Fastpitch West, Jim, I go to it everyday, right after Al’s Fastball”. I took it as a huge compliment. Al’s Fastball is place we all gather to find out what’s going on in the game. It’s home. Men’s fastball has had no greater friend, fan or supporter than Al Doran.
