One run wins by J&B, NY Gremlins puts them into Winner’s Bracket Final Four
J & B and the New York Gremlins each held on for one run wins, over the Toronto Batmen and Circle Tap, respectively, in their quarterfinal games Wednesday night, and leaving only four unbeaten teams in the 2017 ISC World Tournament at Grand Rapids.
one displaying potent offense a 12-0 shellacking of the Bloomington Stix by Hill United, the other stellar pitching – a 1-0, 15 strikeout perfect game by Sean Cleary of the Can Am Twins, over A1 Power.
The other two quarterfinal matches are slated for Wednesday night, at 6pm and 8pm EDT, J&B v. the Toronto Batmen and Circle Tap (next year’s host team) against the New York Gremlins.
