The future of the Micksburg Twins men’s fastball team was on display recently when the Twins dropped a 4-2 decision to the Ottawa Valley A’s. Playing in a front of a good crowd at the Micksburg ball field, the Twins received solid pitching from two young pitchers, 20-year-old John Enright who threw the first three innings and 17-year old Noah Fleurie who pitched the last four innings.
The young tandem of Enright and Fleurie have been getting some work recently with Twins ace pitcher Joran Graham on a whirlwind tour that has had him pitching against some of the best fastball players in the world. Over the past three weeks, Graham has competed at the International Softball Congress World Championships in Iowa, the European Super Cup in the Czeck Republic and the Rawlings Cup Canadian championship in Saskatchewan.
