Q:  What does "Be Sure to Refresh Your Browser" mean?

A:  It means to click the "REFRESH/RELOAD" icon on your browser to be sure you are viewing the latest, most updated version of a webpage. The "refresh/reload" icon is the one with the two inverted arrows making a circle (on Internet Explorer Browser, it's in between the "X" for stop and the "house" for home page)   Your computer stores pictures of web pages to facilitate faster loading in what is called "cache".  You have to clear your cache by clicking REFRESH/RELOAD in order to see (load) the newly updated page.  If you're logging in to a page like "The Latest News", which is updated frequently, it's a good idea to click refresh each time you log in.

A. "PDF" stands for "Portable Document Format", which permits most all computers to download and read the documents. They should open automatically, but if they don't you can easily install "Adobe Reader" onto your computer.  It's free and available by clicking here.   If you are interested, you can read more about PDF in an article I authored by Clicking Here (It's a PDF file).  The article appeared in "Los Angeles Lawyer" magazine and discusses use of PDF by the legal profession, but the information is applicable to any context.
