Starting in 2003, as part of our efforts to help promote the game of fastpitch, we began to broadcast games live on the internet, via streaming audio.  The response to the broadcasts has been great, so we have established "Ballparkradio.com", a companion website to make it easy for our listeners to find the games being broadcast.  No more trying to remember or find lengthy URL's or links.  Just go to www.ballparkradio.com .Click logo above to visit Ballparkradio.com

Jim Flanagan of Fastpitchwest teamed with ISC II Commissioner Blair Setford of Ontario Canada to broadcast eighteen (18) games from the ISC II Tournament of Champions from Fargo, North Dakota in August 2004

How Streaming Audio Works

The broadcast is "captured" onto a laptop computer connected to the internet, and "streamed" via an internet connection to a company called Sportsjuice,  widely used by many minor league baseball teams.  Through the wonders of technology, the audio is put onto the website for sportsjuice.com, where listeners can simply click a link, sit back and listen to the game, "streamed" to them live from the internet.   It's simple, even if you are relatively new to computers.  Games can also be archived for later listening.  (See below)

How to Listen to Live Audio on the Internet

The most oft asked question when it comes to live audio broadcasts is "how do I listen to the game?"  We make it simple:   Click the logo below to visit:
