Olympia's last game on Saturday was a big one against ISC # 1 Broken Bow, another great pitchers duel. Again it was Bricklen Anderson was on the hill again for Olympia against eventual Rose Cup most valuable pitcher, Gerald Muzielaar, got the nod for Broken Bow. After Broken Bow scored once in the second, third and fifth, Olympia got on the board in the sixth when Shaye Anderson, who swung a hot bat all weekend, drove in Scott Meyer for Olympia's only run. Despite out hitting Broken Bow (5 to 4), Olympia couldn't get the key two out hits when it needed them. Still, Bricklen Anderson finished the game giving up only four hits against one of the top lineups around. He finished with six strikeouts and gave up only one extra base hit (a double by eventual tourney MVP, Ryan Wolfe).
(thanks to Scott Meyer of Olympia for the recap)
