Game # 9: Victoria 13, Larry Miller Hogs 2

Victoria Traveller's Inn Fastpitch team have won their second game of the day at the Rose Cup Tournament in Portland, Oregon, defeating Salt Lake City Larry Miller Chevrolet "Hogs" 13-2 in six innings. Traveller's Inn and Salt Lake City were tied 2-2 after four full innings, then Traveller's Inn put the game away, scoring four times in the bottom of the 5th inning, then finishing the game early with a seven run outburst in the bottom of the 6th inning. Glenn Ormsby keyed the 5th inning rally with a two-run triple. Kevin Bobroske ended the game in the 6th inning with a grand slam home run. Marty Steen finished 3-3 with 2 RBI's, while Zenon Winters went 2-3 with 3 RBI's. Korrey Gareau was the starting and winning pitcher for Traveller's Inn, finishing with 11 strikeouts. Next game for Traveller's Inn, their third and final game in the round-robin portion of the tournament, is this afternoon at 5:00 P.M. against
Sacramento, Calif., River City Rockers.
