WCL - NAFA World Series - Lost Game 1 to Kelso, MO 5-1. Tom Jansen was the winning pitcher giving up 5 hits. LP Gary Niebrugge 6 hits 3ER. Today Ohio - Jack Daniels at 3 pm. Then 8 am on Sunday.

WCL - beats Ohio Jack Daniels 9-0. Gary Niebrugge got the win. John Niebrugge had a 2 run homer. Chad Buehnerkemper started the scoring with a single and 2 rbi's. Jim Raddatz had to hits and an RBI. WCL got a forfet win over JP's. WCL is scheduled to play 9:45 on Saturday against Saw Dust City, Wisconsin. Games were rained out after 5 pm on Saturday so the games will be pushed back. Jason Einhorn will be in the circle.

WCL beat Wisconsin 3-1 on Saturday after an hour rain delay. Jason Einhorn got the win. Rain hit again and all games were rained out for the remainder of the day
WCL lost to Kuntz out of Pennsylvania 6-5 on Sunday at 8 am. 5 inning games due to all the rain. They lead 5-1 with 2 outs in the top of the 4th. Had chances to score the next 2 innings but no luck. Einhorn took the loss. Darren Zerrusen worked the 5th. Sean Lee had a 3 run HR. Tough way to end the season. Finished 3-2 and in the top 16. Solid finish but the team wanted more and it was dissapointing way to end the season.
WCL, Kreke's, Franny's all finish tied for 13th.
Belleville tied for 9th. |
