| I have noticed that most new bats that are labeled for fastpitch are -10 lenght/weight ratio. The slowpitch bats can be found with more weight on them. Can bats labeled "slowpitch" be used in fastpitch ? |

| OF COURSE IT CAN. YOU CAN USE FASTPITCH BATS AND SLOW PITCH BATS. ITS A MATTER OF PREFERENCE. A MORE POWER HITTER WOULD USE A SLOWPITCH BAT VS A SLAP HITTER WOULD USE A FASTPITCH BOTTLE BAT. IF YOU LOOK INTO GETTING A SLOWPITCH BAT JUST MAKE SURE ITS NOT ON THE ASA BAT BAN LIST. IF ITS NOT THEN YOU SHOULD BE FINE. |

As a dealer of bats I would suggest not using those bats labeled fastpitch (-10) for men's fastpitch. Those bats are made for women's fastpitch. The only company that makes an official men's fastpitch bat is Wilson. I cannot remember the name of the bat of hand but it is yellow and black and it is labeled for men's fastpitch. It is 34" length and 26,27,28oz. Those women's bats just don't hold up for men's fastpitch. It is best to buy a slowpitch bat and as Madpumper95 stated, make sure it is ASA legal if you are using it for ASA events. _________________ MVD SPORTS FASTPITCH
