Update on the ASA Wooden Bat State Tourney in Vandalia - we have room for 8 teams only.....several others have expressed interest but have not committed

Illinois ASA Men’s Wooden Bat Fastpitch State Tourney
Location: Vandalia Illinois
Dates: July 29, 30, 31
Format: 3 game guarantee
Cost: $350 – will include each team receiving 2 wooden bats (the tournament will provide extra wooden bats if needed)
No parking fee and no admission fee for the tourney

All Class A, B, and C Illinois ASA Fastpitch Teams are eligible regardless of classification but must meet criteria for player requirements. The first 8 teams (paid) will be entered into the tournament. We will be giving an ASA State Wooden Bat State Championship Trophy and All Tourney Team.

I want to thank all the teams that have entered this year's first ASA Wood Bat State Tournament. I think you will find it a fun and worthwhile experience. I also want to thank Rich Well for putting in the time to help pull this off with the Illinois ASA and the City of Vandalia. I am sure it will be a top notch event. Freight Field is one of the great fastpitch venues in the state of Illinois.

Good afternoon - Bowen is unable to play in the Wooden Bat State Tourney (both Pitchers that they have are from out of state)......I am looking for 1 team to fill the spot by this Friday - July 8th - if not we will move forward with 7 teams.....thanks
