RVC Clubbers (New Website)

The RVC Clubbers have a new website, that was just created this week. We will slowly be updating this througout the year with the goal of having our own URL, etc. Currently our first issue of our newsletter and pictures of RVC club day are linked to the site.

RVC Club day was a success as we recruited 7 new RVC students that want to try their hand at fastpitch softball. Hopefully we can get them out to our weekly practice and to the fall league in Cortland.

The Hogs are hoping to add another team under the Hogs next year (development team) for the summer and would like to schedule some games. Hopefully we hear of other teams starting leagues/teams in the near future.

Hi Tom,

Our hope is to have another RVC team in the Rockford league and one main RVC team that would compete in the ISC and ASA 23 and under championships. I am already working on our schedule, now, so lets get together and brainstorm on some dates now. The Clubbers are planning on a weekend 4-5 teamer, on the RVC campus, and turning back the clock with wood bats being used in the tourney. So that might a good weekend to get your other team some games. Right now we are looking at the last weekend of June.

I agree, it would be great if we could get some more individuals interested in development and exposing younger players to this great sport.
