\n When I was 12 I was diagnosed with Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes. I like people to know, especially kids who have diabetes, because I feel like I can show them that even with diabetes you can still reach your dreams and goals with hard work<\/span>and that diabetes doesn’t hold you back if you don’t let it. I reached my dream of playing professional baseball and did it for 5 years, and now I get to represent my country all while having diabetes.<\/p>\n
