The Pala Braves are one of ten teams competing in this year’s 2011 Best of the West (BOTW) tournament. They’ll be competing in Pool B, against the Italian Athletic Club, Cal State Builders, Maccabi USA and CR\/A1 Rockies.<\/p>\n

The Pala Braves are an All-Native team founded in 2007 by \u201cCaptain\u201d Cody Maxcy. The Braves consist of players ranging in age from 20 to 39 years old. The majority of the team has grown up playing ball together on a small reservation in Southern California. Top pitchers are Jason Iuli and Sonny Perkins. Pala Braves joined the NAFA league in 2010 and competed in last years\u2019 World Series in Iowa and the California Classic in SanTe. We are an up and coming Native team looking forward to traveling and battling in a competitive league.
