[MOLINE, IL] \u2013 The International Softball Congress (ISC) announced today that it will again feature live broadcasts of selected games from the 2011 ISC World Tournament in Moline, Illinois.<\/p>\n

The live video broadcast schedule kicks off with the defending ISC World Champions, the Jarvis Travelers, on Sunday, August 14, 2011 at 4:00 PM central, a game offered free of charge to all viewers.<\/p>\n

The ISC will offer an \u201cAll Access\u201d pass, which will provide fans with exclusive online access to an additional 22 video broadcasts, as well as access to archived broadcasts during the week for any games they might miss. The cost of the \u201cISC All Access\u201d pass is $49.95 if purchased on or before August 12, 2011, or $59.95 if purchased thereafter. The \u201cearly-bird\u201d purchase translates to just over $2.25 per game.<\/p>\n

All Access passes can be purchased by clicking on the \u201cWatch Live\u201d link on the ISC website at www.iscfastpitch.com, then clicking on the green “Watch Live” button on the ensuing page.<\/p>\n

Fans will also be able to access individual games on a pay-per-view basis. Each game will be available live and on-demand at a rate of $5.49 per game to non-All-Access subscribers.<\/p>\n

The ISC streaming media broadcast program is now in its 11th year, headed up by Executive Producer Dave Blackburn. Dave brought streaming media to the ISC World Tournament and the fastball world back in 2001, with help from technical guru Greg Panos. In recognition of his years of service and innovation with the ISC streaming media program, Dave will be honored this year as an ISC Hall of Fame inductee.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur broadcast team is very excited about returning to the Quad Cities for the 2011 World Tournament,\u201d said Blackburn. \u201cAfter a successful introduction of the Pay-Per-View online delivery model in 2010, we continue to see this option as the most viable way for the ISC to continue to provide our unique coverage to a global audience of fastball fans long into the future.\u201d<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>In addition to the above broadcasts, co-program director Jim Flanagan will again partner with Softbol Radio to bring Spanish-language audio simulcasts of selected games throughout the ISC World Tournament. Last year marked the first Spanish simulcasts from Midland.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith the increased numbers of players and fans in Latin America, this is a natural extension of our broadcast program,\u201d said Flanagan. We are delighted to be able to bring the excitement of the ISC World Tournament to the Spanish speaking community.”<\/p>\n

The ISC World Tournament broadcast program operates a multiple camera set-up, with play-by-play announcers and color commentators. Assistant Streaming Producer Rosanne Allan will work with Blackburn on production, and full-time cameramen Gerry and Mike Betz will be back for their seventh and sixth years respectively.<\/p>\n

Broadcast program directors Blair Setford and Jim Flanagan will join play-by-play anchors Kyle Smith and Lance Winn in the booth, along with Joe Todd and other guest color commentators. Smith and Winn are both broadcast professionals, Winn at CBC TV and Smith in the Toronto area covering minor league baseball and hockey in addition to his fastball work serving as the lead broadcaster for Ballpark Radio. Joe Todd has been broadcasting for the ISC since 2003 and works with Smith at a number of events throughout the summer.<\/p>\n
