{"id":17508,"date":"2012-08-02T23:47:56","date_gmt":"2012-08-03T06:47:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.fastpitchwest.com\/?p=17508"},"modified":"2012-08-02T23:50:39","modified_gmt":"2012-08-03T06:50:39","slug":"erie-all-stars-edge-argentina-jr-national-team-in-exhibition","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.fastpitchwest.com\/?p=17508","title":{"rendered":"Erie All Stars vs. Argentina Jr. National Team in Exhibition at Erie PA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><figure id=\"attachment_17510\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-17510\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.fastpitchwest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/IMAG0415-11.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.fastpitchwest.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/IMAG0415-11-1024x577.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"IMAG0415 (1)\" width=\"600\" height=\"330\" class=\"size-large wp-image-17510\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-17510\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">2012 Argentina Jr. National Team at Erie PA August 2, 2012 (click to enlarge)<\/figcaption><\/figure>The Erie All Stars, led by ISC stars Blair Ezekiel, Frankie Perez, Sergio La Hoz and Bill Hillhouse, edged a strong Argentine Jr. National team in an exhibition game Thursday night, a prelude to this weekend&#8217;s Ed McCormick Hall of Fame Tournament at Joe Wronek Memorial Field in Erie PA.<\/p>\n<p>The Erie tournament boast five of the top ten teams in the world, including number 1, NY Gremlins, fresh off of their ASA Major National Championship last weekend in Ashland Ohio, number 2, Hill United, with Australians Adam Folkard and Nick Shailes, number 3 Jarvis ON, number 5 PA Power with Sr. Argentine pitcher Lucas Mata, and number 8 Midland Explorers, who will host this year&#8217;s ISC World Tournament.<\/p>\n<p>La Hoz&#8217;s 2 run home run to deep left center field provided the margin of difference for the Erie All Stars.<\/p>\n<p>The teams exchanged gifts before the game, as is customary in international matches.  The Erie players gave the Argentine Jrs.
