The 2012 ASA Men’s Masters 50+ Fast Pitch National Championships will be held this weekend, Sept. 7-9 in Northern California. Hayward is hosting the tournament. There will be no charge at the gate and Hayward officials are encouraging fans, supporters and current, past and future fast pitch players to come out and enjoy some good fast pitch games.<\/p>\n

Teams entered:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\nSavala Painters (CA) will throw Tom Biko and Sammy Thoms
\nPrescott Patriots (TN)
\nAirtronics (CA) will probably have Cary Weiler, Russ Snow and Keith Frey on the roster
\nSeattle Fastpitch (WA) Dan Kolda, Jim Robertson, Cleon Tungsbik and Gill Gardener
\n will share pitching duties.
\nBay Area Merchants (CA) pitchers are Peter Meredith* and Snake aka Richard Rivera
\nInstant Replay (CA) Mark Bennett will pitch.
\nThe OG’s (CA) are a Hayward based team.\n <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

* Peter Meredith is the #2 ranked all-time career leader in wins in the ISC World Tournament with 60 wins.<\/p>\n

All games are to be played at Alden E. Oliver Sports Park at 2580 Eden Park Place in Hayward, CA<\/p>\n
