The Silver Hawks are on the road this weekend, but that doesn&#8217;t mean you still can&#8217;t see some great action on the ball diamond in Michiana.<\/p>\n<p>The Amateur Softball Association Men&#8217;s Fast Pitch National Tournament is being held at Bellville Softball Complex, drawing even more people to South Bend.<\/p>\n<p>The tournament will be going on all weekend long, featuring 16 teams with players from all over the world.<\/p>\n<p>This will be the seventh time since 2004 that the event will be held in South Bend, and it&#8217;s a great way to see some of the best softball in the world.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor this weekend they can see some of the best pitchers in the world,\u201d explained Tournament Director John Walczewski. \u201cWe have got eight different countries along with 16 of the best fast pitch teams in the country. We have go the top four teams in the nation here. It\u2019s pretty exciting a tournament and it\u2019s a great game.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rain caused some of the tournament games to be pushed back, but they hope to be back on track Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>South Bend, Ind.
