Good Afternoon Fastball Friends and Family,<\/p>\n

As most of you already know my name is John Limon Jr. and for the past 20 years I’ve been the Tournament Director for Mr. and Mrs. Lee Castro Sr, Lee Castro Jr. and the Joker Athletic Club’s Memorial Weekend Men’s Fastpitch Softball Tournament.<\/p>\n

I’ve also tried my very best to help promote the game of Fastpitch and the Tournaments in our Great State of Texas. Over the years I’ve comprised a list of over 175 contacts to help keep those interested updated on events here in Texas.<\/p>\n

I’ve blind CC those of you who are on the recent contact list for the Pan Am League so if you would like to continue to get current emails please email me so I can add you to my Master List. Anyone receiving emails and would like to get off my mailing list please email and I will remove your name. You can also email me anyone interested in getting on our list.<\/p>\n

Men’s Fastpitch League set to begin again at Pan Am <\/strong><\/p>\n

Some very good news to report out of Austin for those who may be interested. A group of gentlemen lead by Mr. Tony Castillo have been trying to bring a Men’s Fastpitch league back to the old Pan Am softball, Our Home for Fastpitch. I received the following email from T.C..<\/p>\n

Softballers<\/strong>,<\/p>\n

This is the situation at Pan Am right now. The field is leased to two organizations on Monday – Thursday. It is available for our free play usage on Fridays and Saturdays. I’m sure that by June, more week days will become available to us.<\/p>\n

Games have been scheduled for Saturday, April 16. The Jokers, Indians and Castro are ready to go. We need another team. Perhaps, the Bluejays will field a team. We can use another team.<\/p>\n

We will play a round robin format. If we field 3 teams, we start a 10:00 am and play the last game at 1:00. With 4 teams, we will start at 9:00 am and schedule the last game at 4:30.<\/p>\n

For you guys that play on 40 and over, 50 and over and especially those that are going to play in the National 60 and Over Tournament in August, now is the time to start playing. Join one of the teams.<\/p>\n
