With Win over #4 Bear Creek Express"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>Cap tip Bear Creek Gremlins and ISC Fastpitch<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Sun, Jun 22<\/strong> <strong>Bear Creek Gremlins 8 &#8211; Bear Creek Express 1 (FINAL)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Game Summary:<\/strong> <strong>Bear Creek Gremlins<\/strong> won big over <strong>Bear Creek Express<\/strong> 8-1 on Sunday at Chippewa On The Thames, ON.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bear Creek Gremlins got on the board in the second inning after Matthew Roy doubled, scoring two runs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bear Creek Gremlins extended their early lead with two runs in the top of the third thanks to RBI doubles by <strong>Erick Ochoa and Lucio Retamar<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jack Besgrove<\/strong> earned the win for Bear Creek Gremlins. The pitcher allowed four hits and one run (zero earned) over five innings, striking out six and walking one. <strong>Sean Cleary<\/strong> took the loss for Bear Creek Express. The starting pitcher went three innings, surrendering four runs on four hits, striking out four and walking four.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ladisiao Malarczuk<\/strong> led Gremlins with three runs batted in from the number nine spot in the lineup. The left-handed hitter went 1-for-2 on the day. <strong>Matthieu Roy, Erick Ochoa, and Lucio Retamar<\/strong> each collected two hits for Bear Creek Gremlins. <strong>Ben Enoka<\/strong> led Bear Creek Gremlins with two walks.
