Per ASA code, the players on the restricted list were determined by the ASA Fast Pitch Restricted Player Committee. Any appeals regarding the list should be made to the player\u2019s local commissioner who will forward it to the national office for further review by the committee. Please do this in writing and be sure to include statistics, teams played against, and a reason why the player should be considered for removal. Players on the ASA Restricted Fast Pitch Player List may only play in the Major classification for men\u2019s fast pitch softball. The list will be updated, modified and\/or revised on a regular and continuous basis but will be finalized by June 1.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\nEditor’s note: <\/strong> The principal import of the list is to limit players on the list to playing at the “Major” level for national tournaments (precluding them from playing “A”, “B” or “C”) ASA has posted a 2011 list for slopitch, but apparently the 2010 list is the latest for men’s fastpitch. I note that June 1 is shown as the finalization date, which presuambly means that anyone trying to get off the list should take action well before then.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
