The Odessa A&#8217;s will be joining the Permian Basin Mens Fastpitch league!!!! We now have 5 pitchers throwing in league with less than a year under their belt. We are very proud of them and the progress they are making.<\/p>\n<p>Our 2nd season in the Permian Basin Mens Fastpitch League is off and running. The West Texas Rebels won the first game 5-3 over the Angels. D&#038;R Engine of Odessa took the 2nd game 15-1 behind the pitching of Ron Brem. We are part of the West Texas Mens Fastpitch Association based here in Midland,Texas<\/p>\n<p><strong>Overview\t<\/strong><br \/>\nMidland and Odessa are rich in Fastpitch tradition. Although the game has disappeared in the last several years, the area has produced some of the best fastpitch players and teams that have ever played the game. Our job is to resurrect a once great game in the Permian Basin.<\/p>\n<p><strong>General Information<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Permian Basin Mens Fastpitch league was started in 2010 with league play in Midland and Odessa. In 2011 we moved all league play to one night in Odessa. We are a member of the Odessa Softball Associaton and play on Wednesday nights from April to Octbober.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mission<\/strong><br \/>\nWe will be promoting the game of mens and boys fastpitch in the Midland\/Odessa area.
