Hello Men’s Fast Pitch Managers,
It is time again to start thinking about Men’s Fast Pitch Leagues and Tournaments for 2011. The City of Meridian will be hosting the 2nd Annual Men’s Fast Pitch Tournament on May 21st & 22nd, 2011. Last year’s tournament turned out to be a good one with SAU (based out of Utah) beating Yakima Brewing Company (based out of Washington) in the Championship game 2-1. Please see more information on the tournament below. Registration Forms and other information will be sent out in the next couple weeks.
-Divisions: Men’s Fast Pitch (All Divisions)
-Team Registration Fee: $250 per team (First 16 teams to register)
-3 Game Guarantee
-All ASA Fast Pitch Rules Apply
-Individual T-Shirts for 1st Place
-Team Plaque for 1st & 2nd Place
-Offensive/Defensive Tourney MVP
All teams and players must be registered through ASA, and present signed rosters at time of registration. Registration Deadline is Friday, May 6th by 5:00 pm at the Meridian Parks & Recreation Office. Teams can fax in the roster and registration form and pay over the phone with a credit card.
There will be a meet and greet Friday, May 20th at a location to be announced later. This is a great way for teams to meet others, talk about their own tournaments, and to talk softball.
