Two main items added below.  <\/p>\n<blockquote><p>1) a list of teams entered in the tournament so far and a heads up to teams that the 16 slots are filling up fast &#8212; and has been full the last four years.   (Don&#8217;t be the 17th team that gets turned away &#8211; act now while there is still time to get in). We anticipate filling the tournament for the fifth straight year.   <!--more--><\/p>\n<p>~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~<\/p>\n<p>St. George is located in the southwestern corner of Utah. It&#8217;s a warm<br \/>\nweather retirement community with seven beautiful diamonds consisting of<br \/>\ngolf green quality outfields with enclosed fences. There is a full service<br \/>\nsnack open during the entire tournament. The ball park is situated amongst<br \/>\nthe beautiful backdrop of red colored mountains and green trees and lawns.<br \/>\nThere is plenty of parking. The ball park is located just a few minutes away<br \/>\nfrom the city center. These are the most beautiful diamonds West of Orlando,<br \/>\nFlorida&#8217;s Disney World Complex. Many feel they are the finest they have ever<br \/>\nplayed on. The outfields are like carpets. <\/p>\n<p>http:\/\/www.ci.st-george.ut.us\/ <\/p>\n<p>Many teams over the years have made this a family trip combining Las Vegas<br \/>\nand the Red Rock tournament into a super 3-4 day holiday. They either arrive<br \/>\na day early or leave a day later spending a night or two in Las Vegas. There<br \/>\nare special group rates for 10 or more people. A few of the players<br \/>\nsignificant others spent the entire time in Las Vegas and were joined by<br \/>\ntheir significant others either before or after the tournament. <\/p>\n<p>http:\/\/www.vegas.com <\/p>\n<p>Getting to the Red Rock International Invitational: <\/p>\n<p>St. George Airport: http:\/\/www.sgcity.org\/airport\/ <\/p>\n<p>The St. George airport is located about 5 minutes the downtown area and<br \/>\nabout 10 minutes from the ball park and offers jet service as well as<br \/>\ncommuter aircraft. <\/p>\n<p>Las Vegas McCarran International Airport:<br \/>\nhttp:\/\/www.mccarran.com\/airportguide.asp <\/p>\n<p>Driving from the Las Vegas airport is about a 1\u00c2\u00bd hour drive North up<br \/>\nInterstate 15. As you approach the mountain pass approaching St. George, the<br \/>\nview is absolutely incredible. Be sure to bring your camera. <\/p>\n<p>There is a shuttle between the Las Vegas airport and\/or the Salt Lake City<br \/>\nairport to both hotels listed below in St. George: <\/p>\n<p>http:\/\/www.stgshuttle.com\/ <\/p>\n<p>Salt Lake City Airport  http:\/\/www.slcairport.com\/ <\/p>\n<p>Driving from the Salt Lake City Airport is about a 5 hour drive South on<br \/>\nInterstate 15. <\/p>\n<p>Driving from Southern California can easily be calculated via Las Vegas. <\/p>\n<p>Ken Hackmeister, executive director of the International Softball Congress<br \/>\n(ISC) will once again serve as Tournament Director. Josh Olmstead of St<br \/>\nGeorge Leisure Services will be the Host Administrator of the tournament.<br \/>\nRoy Stout will be the Umpire-in-Chief. <\/p>\n<p>Umpires are from various locations around the USA and Canada. Many have ISF<br \/>\nInternational and\/or ISC World Tournament experience.
