Patsy’s 9-5 Win Caps Perfect Run at ASA Major<\/strong><\/p>\n

Patsy’s of New York entered the ASA Major Tournament as the # 2 team in the ISC World rankings, but it managed to knock off both teams that held the # 1 spot during the 2007 season, the Riversharks, and Broken Bow. ISC # 6 ranked The Farm dropped its first game of the tournament on opening night to Broken Bow, NY, in a tough draw, but they battled all the way back to the championship game before falling to unbeaten Patsy’s. Along the way, The Farm rattled off 7 straight wins, and avenged the earlier loss to Broken Bow by eliminating them in a Saturday afternoon game today, 7-6, enroute to a second place finish, while the other winner’s bracket finalist, the Riversharks finished third, though dropping their final two games.<\/p>\n

Circle Tap finished fourth, while Broken Bow and Midland tied for fifth. Midland dropped their second game of the tournament, to the Riversharks, then notched 5 consecutive wins before being eliminated by Circle Tap.
