Quick update on Greg de Belleval, the pitcher for the Bridgeport Braves, injured at the Snapper Shootout in a game with Shakespeare Falcons when he was hit in the face with a line drive. Looks like he’ll be OK, injuries serious, but not quite as bad as feared initially. His note:<\/p>\n
It looks like I was in a bar fight with Clutch or something! <\/p>\n
The plastic surgeon said I don’t need any operations like first thought, but my cheek bone under my left eye has multiple fractures and my cheek bone under my right eye has minor fractures.<\/p>\n
He said my nose is fine and my jaw isn’t fractured either. I will check with my dentist later to see how my teeth are doing, although they seem ok.<\/p>\n
I can’t really close my jaw very well at this point, but hopefully when the swelling goes down I will have full function again.<\/p>\n
Thank you fellas for your help Saturday afternoon, especially Clutch and Sammy and whomever else helped me over to the chair behind the bleachers. <\/p>\n
Take care fella’s and look forward to getting back on the mound, but that may not be for a several weeks.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Parece que va a ser OK, lesiones graves, pero no es tan mala como se tem\u00c3\u00ada inicialmente. Su nota:<\/p>\n
Parece que yo estaba en un bar lucha con el embrague o algo!<\/p>\n
El cirujano pl\u00c3\u00a1stico dijo que yo no necesito todas las operaciones como primer pensamiento, pero mi mejilla hueso bajo mi ojo izquierdo tiene m\u00c3\u00baltiples fracturas y mi mejilla hueso bajo mi ojo derecho ha fracturas menores.<\/p>\n
Dijo mi nariz est\u00c3\u00a1 muy bien y mi mand\u00c3\u00adbula fracturada no es tampoco. Voy a verificar con mi dentista despu\u00c3\u00a9s de ver c\u00c3\u00b3mo mis dientes est\u00c3\u00a1n haciendo, a pesar de que parece ok.<\/p>\n
Realmente no puedo cerrar mi mand\u00c3\u00adbula muy bien en este momento, pero esperemos que cuando la hinchaz\u00c3\u00b3n baja voy a tener plenas funciones de nuevo.<\/p>\n
