The teams compete in the So Cal Independent Fastpitch League (SCIFL).<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Panteras II<\/strong> won their first two games in the tournament, falling in their third, 5-4 to Jack Daniels, Ohio, then finishing 3-2 in the tournament.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Flor de Cana<\/strong>, of the SCIFL dropped their first game of the tournament, then reeled off four consecutive wins before being eliminated, finishing 4-2 in the tournament.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Palm Spring Express<\/strong> of the SCIFL won their first game, then fell to the loser&#8217;s bracket at the hands of eventual champion Belleville, IL, picked up a forfeit win and another before elimination, finishing 3-2 in the tournament.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.scifastpitch.com\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.fastpitchwest.com\/images2\/scifl_225.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/a><br \/>\n<em>(Click logo for official SCIFL website)<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>All three teams from Southern California returned from Mankato, Minnesota, with winning records while competing in the NAFA &#8220;A&#8221; World Series.
