PRESCOTT – Luna Towing out of Amado topped the Prescott Outlaws 8-1 in Sunday’s championship game of the ASA Men’s B-C Fast Pitch State Tournament at Ken Lindley Field<\/p>\n

The teams met earlier in the day in the championship bracket final with Luna coming out on top 9-4.
\nThe Outlaws got one more shot at Luna thanks to an 11-4 win over the Tucson Rattlers in the consolation bracket final, but came up short.<\/p>\n

In Saturday’s late games, Prescott’s Eggen Weed lost to Luna 12-6, while the Outlaws edged the Rattlers 8-7.<\/p>\n

The Rattlers went on to beat Prescott’s Brennen Aire 11-3. Eggen was eliminated from the tourney with a 10-9 loss to Prescott’s Barros. <\/p>\n

Barros was bounced from the tourney with Sunday morning’s 12-6 consolation bracket loss to the Rattlers.<\/p>\n

All nine teams that participated are eligible to compete in the Class B National Championships in Prescott starting on Sept. 4.<\/p>\n
