\nWe’re out. We lost to the lumberkings 10-6. Lumberkings then beat rude-PAC 10-2. Lumberkings are battered and need to heal fast. They are down to nine players with a long road.<\/p>\n

Watching Silverhawks and Lunas Towing. Troy Parker just hit a 2 RBI triple. Silverhawks up 4-2. after 5. Lunas answers with a solo shot off barker to lead off 6th. Another two run shot, 7-4 lunas, 1 out.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

LONG BEACH FALLS 9-1 TO LUMPY’S OF UTAH FINISH 1-2 IN NATIONALS<\/p>\n

The Long Beach Black Sox were beat 9-1 as they came out flat and were eliminated from the ASA B Nationals with a 1-2 record. Dave Blackburn took the loss for Long Beach. The Sox only managed 4 hits from Jason Obregon, Chris Paiva, Chris Martinez,and Anthony Martinez. The Sox scored their only run in the 3rd when Chris Paiva singled as did Chris Martinez. Jason Obregon lifted a sac fly to right scoring Paiva. Lumpy’s scored 4 in the 1st off Blackburn and 2 in the 2nd and 3 in the 4th off Ron Rupp. Long Beach now prepares for the 40 and over Nationals in 2 weeks in Carson City. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n
