The Aztecs improved to 30-13 and 8-3 in the Mountain West Conference with the win, while the Utes dropped to 24-27 and 4-9.<\/p>\n<p>May had a two-run single in the bottom of the first inning, a single in the fourth and then capped a four-run SDSU sixth inning with a two-run homer over the left field fence. It was her fourth home run of the season, tying her with sophomore Justeen Maeva (San Diego\/Mira Mesa HS\/Cal State Bakersfield) and junior Jen Wisneski (Riverside, Calif.) for the most on the team.<\/p>\n<p>May had three of San Diego State&#8217;s 10 hits on the night. Junior Jessica Camello (Temecula, Calif.) had two hits, including a double, and scored twice, while Maeva singled twice and drove in a run.<\/p>\n<p>Senior Brittany Knudsen (San Diego\/Escondido HS) singled, stole a base and scored a run, while junior Traci Wolf (Lancaster, Calif.) and freshman Felicia Reifschneider (San Diego\/Morse HS) each scored for the Aztecs. Redshirt senior Monica Alnes (Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif.) and sophomore Ashley Rose (Antioch, Calif.) each added solo singles.<\/p>\n<p>Beasley (25-8) allowed one run on three hits and a walk over six innings. She struck out nine batters and now has 619 over her career, seven more than Christina Ross&#8217; 612 set from 2006-08. Beasley is 20-3 with a 0.80 ERA since Feb. 27 (148 1\/3 innings).<\/p>\n<p>Sophomore Bailey Micetich (Woodland, Calif.) struck out one and gave up one hit in one inning of relief.<\/p>\n<p>Utah got its run when Joni Cook and Whitney Holm had back-to-back doubles to lead off the second frame.<\/p>\n<p>The same two teams meet tomorrow (Saturday) at 1 p.m. PT in the final regular season home game for SDSU seniors Alnes, Sydney Fleming (Oakland, Calif.), Knudsen and Stefanie Quichocho-Rosario (San Diego\/Morse HS).<\/p>\n<p><strong>San Diego State 6, Utah 1<\/strong><br \/>\nUtah (24-27, 4-9 MWC)                         010 000 0 &#8212; 1 4 2<br \/>\nSan Diego State (30-13, 8-3 MWC)        200 004 x &#8212; 6 10 4<br \/>\nCook, Smuda (6) and Garcia, Olson (6); Beasley, Micetich (7) and Kr.
