La Confederaci\u00c3\u00b3n Argentina de Softbol se complace en anunciar que ente el 17 y el 20 de junio se disputar\u00c3\u00a1 en la Ciudad de Buenos Aires el 1\u00c2\u00ba Torneo del Hemisferio Sur – Argentina 2010, con la participaci\u00c3\u00b3n de las selecciones femeninas de Argentina, Nueva Zelanda, Sud\u00c3\u00a1frica y la Selecci\u00c3\u00b3n Argentina Sub19. <\/p>\n

El torneo est\u00c3\u00a1 organizado en conjunto por la Municipalidad de Pilar y la Confederaci\u00c3\u00b3n Argentina de Softbol, y se disputar\u00c3\u00a1 \u00c3\u00adntegramente en el diamante de aquella localidad bonaerense. Cabe destacar que en una primera instancia el Club N\u00c3\u00a1utico Hacoaj organizar\u00c3\u00ada este evento, pero desisti\u00c3\u00b3 de hacerlo debido al retraso en las obras de su nueva cancha. Por ello, el Municipio de Pilar y la Confederaci\u00c3\u00b3n Argentina tomaron la posta y continuaron con esta iniciativa.<\/p>\n

Esta competencia le servir\u00c3\u00a1 a las Selecciones de Argentina, Sud\u00c3\u00a1frica y Nueva Zelanda de preparaci\u00c3\u00b3n para el Campeonato Mundial Femenino ISF, que se disputar\u00c3\u00a1 en Caracas, Venezuela, desde el 23 de junio (es decir, tres d\u00c3\u00adas despu\u00c3\u00a9s de la finalizaci\u00c3\u00b3n de este torneo).
