\nWomen’s National Softball Team ready to challenge for ISF XII Women’s World Championship Title<\/strong><\/p>\n

(Caracas, Venezuela) The Canadian Senior Women’s National Team will be looking to challenge for top spot at the ISF XII Women’s
\nWorld Championship, which will take place in Caracas, Venezuela from June 23rd to July 2nd. The United States have won the last
\nseven Women’s World Championships, but the level of talent across the world has increased to narrow the gap, and Japan comes into
\nthe event as the 2008 Olympic Games Gold medalists.<\/p>\n

The athletes who will represent Canada at the ISF XII Women’s World Championship in Caracas, Venezuela are:<\/p>\n

Sixteen (16) teams will participate at the event, which will be split into two pools for round-robin play. Each team will play seven games against the other teams in their pool, and the top four teams from each pool will advance to the playoff round.<\/p>\n
