The City of Meridian will be hosting the 2nd Annual Men\u2019s Fast Pitch Tournament on May 21st &#038; 22nd, 2011.  Last year\u2019s tournament turned out to be a good one with SAU (based out of Utah) beating Yakima Brewing Company (based out of Washington) in the Championship game 2-1.  Please see more information on the tournament below.  Registration Forms and other information will be sent out in the next couple weeks. <\/p>\n<p>-Divisions:  Men\u2019s Fast Pitch (All Divisions)<\/p>\n<p>-Team Registration Fee: $250 per team (First 16 teams to register)<\/p>\n<p>-3 Game Guarantee<\/p>\n<p>-All ASA Fast Pitch Rules Apply<\/p>\n<p>-Individual T-Shirts for 1st Place<\/p>\n<p>-Team Plaque for 1st &#038; 2nd Place<\/p>\n<p>-Offensive\/Defensive Tourney MVP<\/p>\n<p>All teams and players must be registered through ASA, and present signed rosters at time of registration.  Registration Deadline is Friday, May 6th by 5:00 pm at the Meridian Parks &#038; Recreation Office.  Teams can fax in the roster and registration form and pay over the phone with a credit card. <\/p>\n<p>There will be a meet and greet Friday, May 20th at a location to be announced later.  This is a great way for teams to meet others, talk about their own tournaments, and to talk softball. <\/p>\n<p>Hotel deals will follow in the next couple weeks as well.
