All at the river&#8217;s edge in scenic Grants Pass, Oregon, about an hour north of the California border.  For those that don&#8217;t remember, it was a fixture in the late 1980&#8217;s.  Magna Plating, one of the top &#8220;A&#8221; teams from So Cal was a regular for several years running.  The Rounders&#8217; Mitch Mendenhall was the Most Valuable Pitcher one year, in the days of his youth.<br \/>\nNo small operation, the tournament has blocked 60 rooms for fastpitch players on a busy holiday weekend.
