Currently rated 6th after their finish at the 2002 ISF world series while also finishing 6th at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.

Currently rated 4th after their finish at the 2001 Junior ISF world series.
Mark Sorenson was named coach this year (2002) to take the team through to the 2005 world series.

 NZ U/16 BOYS & GIRLS:
Both teams completed against Australia in the first ever Trans-Tasman clash July 2002.
