Official Dolan & Murphy Team Website

The Dolan and Murphy Shamrocks have finalized their roster and schedule for the 2004 season. The Shamrocks finished 16th at last year's ISC Fastball World Championships and went 2-2 at the ASA Nationals.

In 2004 the Shamrocks hope to add to their playoff experience as their goal is to once again make the field of 16 in Fargo, ND. The following players will help in the achieving that goal.

Brian Tobin (c)-Tobin comes from a two year stint with BHAC Pride of
Rockford and will help add some needed pop into the Shamrock lineup. John Sudges (1b) Sudges is a two time All World selection and batting champion of the ISC. Sudges led the Shamrocks in home runs in '03 and drove in 23 runs.

Mike Drew (DH) Drew has been an All World selection. Drew tied Sudges for the team lead in home runs last season and after 25 years of playing is still is a force a the plate.

Jeff Lipscomb (2b/mgr) Jeff is an excellent veteran that is tough to
strikeout and is a fierce competitor.

Brian Carson (2b/u) Carson played on the 23-uinder team (ATMI) that won the ISC last year in Walcott, IA. Carson is a tough slap hitter with good speed and should help the Shamrocks in that area.

Adam Perkins(ss/2b)Prkins also played on the ATMI club that won it all last year and brings speed and a good stick to the Shamrocks.

Tommy Crouch (ss/2b) Crouch led the ISC in triples in '02 and led the
Shamrocks in RBI last year. Crouch has been named to two 23-under All world teams and won a 23-U title with Fargo, ND.

John Perkins (3b/u) John will take the reigns at third base and was a
23-u All tournament selection last year for the champion ATMI club.

Jared Gutesha (of/c) Jared was the MVP of teh 2003 23-under tournament nad will add depth in the outfield and catcher. Gutesha is power hitter with speed.

Ron McCue (of) The veteran McCue is still on of the speediest guys in the game and can hit for power.

Dave Yates (of) Yates led the team in batting average, steals and tied
for home runs last season. Yates has world class speed and just started playing the game a couple of years ago. Every year he gets better and better.

Jon Puklin (of/c) Puklin was a member of Team USA in the Macabeih games in '97. Puklin has power and speed and a great arm in right field. He will also help out with catching duties.

Pitching:  Tim Murphy (p/dh) Murphy was the MVP oft the NAFA A last season where he had an 0.26 ERA for St. Paul. Murphy makes the jump to major ball in 04. Peter Mersereau (p/dh) Peter is rumored to be one of the top junior pitchers in Canada. Jason Iuli (p) Jason has played the last few years for ATMI and will make the jump to major ball this season and will be sure to get plenty of
innings in.
