Kegel Black Knights

Fargo, North Dakota

The Kegel Black Knights coming off a successful 2003 season by winning the NAFA open division and finishing 2nd to Team Lyons in the AAA division would like to announce the signing of a top young pitcher in Steve Langley. Steve will join Darcy Byrne on the Kegel staff. Steve has pitched with Dolan & Murphy & Manitoba Alliance at the last two ISC World tournaments and has complied a 6 & 1 record with 2 shutouts and impressive era of 1.14. Darcy Byrne has been pitching with Kegel for the majority of his summer’s and pitched with IS Knights of Fargo last year and Manitoba alliance in the previous year at the ISC World tournament and compiled a 1 & 2 record with a very solid 1.80 era. The two pitchers will be backed up by Chad Klassen who has been with Kegel for the past few years and brings some solid veteran leadership to the staff. The Black Knights are also putting the final touches on a very solid sponsorship program with a local Fargo Business. The sponsorship will allow them to finalize the signing of two possibly three big bats to their lineup. More exciting news to follow.
