Jeff Ellsworth led off the third inning for
Mac’s with a triple, and came home to score on a
sacrifice fly to left by Frank Perez. In the
5th, Ellsworth walked, stole second and came
home to score their second run. Mac’s added two
more runs in the 6th on a walk, fielder’s
choice, infield error and another sacrifice fly.
Mac’s added a fifth run in the 7th when
pinch-hitter Kelly Wenstrom singled and came
home on an outfield error.
Mac’s pitcher Jeremy Manley turned in a
masterful performance in the title game,
yielding but 3 hits, and striking out 14.
