In the bottom of the seventh inning of the championship game, Rod Rainey of Team Rainey delivered a clutch two out, two strike RBI single to tie the game.  Then, in the bottom of the 9th inning tie breaker, he singled home the game winner to lead his team to an unprecedented third consecutive Best of the West title.  (Maybe the sponsor will pick up the dry cleaning tab, eh?)
