The 2009 Bay Area Pirates formerly known as Team
Pape, is looking to better their 2nd place finish from the 2008
Men’s Class “B” ASA National Tournament last season. Their goal is
to participate in the 2009 Men’s Class “B” ASA Nationals in
Prescott, Arizona. With an off-season merger taking place with Da
Bruddah’s of Hayward, the Pirates have 10 returning players from the
2008 squad and Da Bruddah’s are represented by 7 of its team
members. The team has participated in 2 tournaments in NorCal and is
looking forward to participating in The Best of the West tournament,
which is considered to be one of the best tournaments in California.
We are looking forward to a great weekend of highly competitive
softball. Thanks in advance to the tournament organizers for a job
well done and we will see you all at the field!
