This will be a round robin event on Friday and Saturday with a single
elimination tournament on Sunday. It will again be held at Circle
Tap Bar and Grill, just outside of Denmark, WI (12 miles South of Green
Bay), and also at Memorial Field in the town of Denmark(2 miles/minutes
away). Excellent crowds of very knowledgeable fastpitch fans will be on
hand as usual. If you have never made the trip, please do. I
can help you out with directions and any other info you may need.
Looks like the field this year will be the strongest ever.

Very strong crowds. 3 Green Bay TV stations on hand as well as 2
newspapers covering the action.
Side note: I've been told by several teams that this is one of the
best
run, MOST FUN!! to play tournaments of the year. Nothing beats a bar
with
a high quality field attached. Almost brought a tear to my eye
hearing
that from high quality teams that didn't even make it to Sunday say
that.

The 4th Annual Boys of Summer has just been completed. Weather again
was
beautiful as temps were again in the mid 80's. Great crowds taking
in the
games at both Diamonds.
County Materials of Marathon, WI successfully defended their title
as
champions knocking off The Farm of Madison, WI. Circle Tap and The
Bar on
the Avenue tie for 3rd. Here's how it came about.

an early 2-0 lead, County came back to tie at 2. Farm then took the

4-2, County came back to tie 4-4, Farm struck for 2 more to take a

The schedule for the 2004 Boys of Summer Open tournament is now completed.
The tournament will be held July 9-11, 2004. We believe we have
assembled an extremely competitive tournament this year. This is the
4th Annual Boys of Summer Tournament and will again be run in conjunction
with the Knights of Columbus Branch in Denmark, WI. The KC's ran the
tournament from 1970-1997, and Circle Tap Fastpitch Association started
the tournament in 2001. Last year we were blessed with
excellent weather and very sizable crowds, in what I think is one of the
best places to see quality fastpitch. The Circle Tap Diamond is
located behind Circle Tap Bar and Grill just two miles west of Denmark.
You can view the games outside on the bleachers or sit at one of the
tables on the deck off the bar, or you can also watch the games from
inside the bar through the huge windows. So come on out and enjoy
some great food off the menu or have a few of your favorite tasty
beverages. There will again be a beer garden outside. Any
