Joe Santos Memorial Tournament

The 1st annual Joe Santos Memorial Fastball tournament kicked off with
the City of Pueblo renaming Bessemer field to JOE SANTOS FIELD. The
Pueblo City council also declared May 28, 2004 as Joe Santos Day in
Pueblo Colorado. At the opening ceremony we had several local
dignitaries as well as ISC President Dick Mason and Colorado ASA
Commissioner Chuck Rice in attendance.
The tournament kicked off with two five inning games on Friday night.
The Joe Santos family would like to thank the 3 teams who joined the
Pueblo Bandits in the 1st of many more Joe Santos Memorial
tournaments. This will be an annual event held on the Memorial day
weekend.
