[St. George, UT - 5/1/04-6:00am] - Good morning from St. George Utah. We arrived yesterday afternoon and got the grand tour of the "Canyons Complex" from Josh Olmstead, who manages the facility for the City of St. George.  As you can see from the photo at left, it's one of the more scenic ballparks in the country.

Ballplayers were rolling into the hotel yesterday afternoon, and into the evening hours as teams prepare to get underway in the tournament, with games starting Saturday at 9am.  There will be four games on tap every two hours, through the final set at 7:00pm tonight.

Mike Ryan and I will be broadcasting live starting at 11am with the Team Rainey CA vs. Houston HIS Construction game, followed by the 5pm Broken Bow, NY vs. Yucaipa CA (which marks the return of Peter Meredith pitching for Yucaipa), and finally, the Portland DeMarini vs. Hilo HI game at 7pm.  Remember that game times are "Mountain Time", an hour ahead of you on the west coast and a couple hours behind those of you in the east.  Click the menu button at the upper left of this page for "Live Audio Broadcasts" for all of the information.  A couple of clicks and you should be hearing us live, broadcasting not far from where the photo at left was taken.  We'll be updating these pages all throughout the tournament, in between the broadcasts, so be sure to check in for all of the action.  Ken Hackmeister will be posting game results to Al Doran's as well.  Glad to have you with us.

We will be broadcasting six games via the internet (streaming audio), three Saturday and three Sunday, as shown below. Thank you to the teams joining our sponsors, and enabling us to bring the games to you. For more information on our broadcasts, click the "Live Audio Broadcasts" menu button at upper left.
