Listing of Motels: Bottom of page, make reservations as soon as
possible. Most are holding rooms until July 1.
Check in: For 10U, 12U, 14U, and 16U will be at Koch Complex from 3:00 to
5:00 on Thursday August 5th or at the managers draw Thursday night.
For the 18u and the 23U will be at Koch Complex all day Friday or at least
2 hours before your game time on Saturday.
Managers draw: Will be August 5th at 7:00 p.m. Meal and draw will be at
the Sunnyside Inn (South Lake Drive). 2 representatives from each team is
invited to attend free of charge. Each additional additional guest is
$15.00 per person.
Opening ceremonies: 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 7th. This will be
a tentative time according to the game schedule. Teams will line up on
diamond 3 and parade on to diamond 2.
Pictures: A schedule for pictures will be available at sign up and
at the draw. Please try to schedule your team pictures before the playing
of your first game.
Gate fees: Gate fees will be $5.00 per day, 12 and under free.
Passes: Passes will be available and will be required to get in,
uniforms will not be considered a game pass. Each player will be allowed a
pass plus 4 for coaches and stats people. If your sponsor is coming please
let us know as will give passes to all sponsors personally.
Tournament play: Tournament play will begin at 10:00 a.m. on the
morning of August 6th and continue through August 8th. This could be
subject to change, depending on the number of teams. We will make every
effort to let you know as soon as possible if this change must happen. The
tournament will be played under the rules and code of ASA Softball. This
includes all dress codes. Teams will be in uniform and coaches will be
dressed in team colors. Coaches, denims will not be allowed on the field.
Home team: Home team will be determined by a coin toss. This coin
toss will be approximately ½ hour before game time at the diamond that you
are scheduled to play. Koch complex has seven diamonds and they are
designated by number. The upper four fields are one through four and have
both dugouts on the same side of the field. The lower three are five
through seven and have conventional dugouts. We would ask that the home
team take the closest dugout to home on the upper four diamonds or the
first base dugout on the bottom four diamonds.
Pool play or 3 game: Divisions 10U, 12U, 14U, & 16U will play 2
games of pool play and a double elimination tournament starting on Friday.
18U and 23U will play ASA 3 game guarantee tournament on Saturday and
Sunday. Again this is depending on the number of entries.
Balls: All divisions will use the yellow 47 .cor ball.
Practice fields: Foundation fields, 4 fields available, two blocks
north of Koch Complex.
Awards: Awards will be presented.
Souvenirs: Souvenir T-shirts, shorts, sweats, and hats will be
available at the diamond starting Friday morning. Concessions will be
available at the tournament during the whole tournament.
Alcohol: Alcohol will not be allowed in complex or the parking lot
during the duration of the tournament.
