Missouri\u2019s Ehren Earleywine \u2014 at 5 feet 7 and not far north of his 150-pound playing weight as a four-time member of United States men\u2019s softball team \u2014 has long contended he isn\u2019t the most popular coach in college softball.<\/p>\n

After his counterparts \u2014 mostly female \u2014 hear what he just said about them, they\u2019ll like him even less.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo much of the women\u2019s game is filled with smoke, hot air and emotion,\u201d Earleywine told The Star. \u201cEven the commentators talk about stuff that isn\u2019t relevant to winning and losing. It\u2019s about everything but what is important.<\/p>\n
