\nAfter finishing fifth out of 10 teams at the 2010 Canadian championship in Charlottetown, player\/coach Bobby Despres says the Twins are looking to place top three at the 2011 nationals in Owen Sound, Ont., Aug. 28 to Sept. 4.<\/p>\n

“It wasn’t a bad showing,” Despres said. “A lot of our guys hadn’t attended nationals in six or seven years, but we picked up steam as the week went along.”<\/p>\n

After winning their first playoff game, the Twins pushed eventual bronze medallist St. John’s Three Cheers Pub before losing 5-3 on a walk-off, two-run homer by Stephen Mullaley in the bottom of the seventh.
