Couple more weeks until the Erie PA tournament. Just a few reminders to fastball fans coming: 8 teams with 2 pools of 4. Top 6 advance to sunday for a 1pm final. Ballpark Radio, with <\/a> Kyle Smith<\/a> and Al Doran <\/a>are scheduled to be in attendance. <\/p>\n

Avalon Hotel<\/strong> is host hotel, once again. It is closest hotel to the fields and nightlife. Email: sharon.anderson (at) saphotels.com for Avalon info, or call 814 459 2220 x 233. <\/p>\n

Erie Airport<\/a> is the closest and most convenient (USAir, Continental, and Delta all come straight into Erie). Buffalo, Pittsburgh and Cleveland are all about 1.5 hours from Erie. <\/p>\n

Admission to games is free. Erie is a very old fashioned ballpark with no gates to charge. There are no “open container” laws at the park so, you can bring beer to the bleachers with you. If you’re traveling to the ballpark and want an address for your GPS, use this one: 1137 East 11th Street, Erie PA. <\/p>\n

Schedule will be made in a day or so. Right now these teams are committed: <\/p>\n

There will be 50-50’s and local concessions for burgers and stuff. <\/p>\n

Fastball fans from as far as Texas and Wisconsin are scheduled to appear, along with many familiar faces of the die-hard fans we all know.<\/p>\n
