\"\"<\/a>That’s the kind of claim that always invites dispute. But from a pitching standpoint, not much doubt. <\/p>\n

Argentine Juan Potoliccio, a 10 inning, 20 strikeout no hitter for the win. Sean Cleary, the hard luck-loser in 10 innings, surrendering just one hit and striking out 24 (including 20 in 7 innings, tying an ISC record held by 5 others). <\/p>\n

The one hit? A home run to left field in the top of the 10th inning by Nicholas Bittor. PA Power very nearly won the game in the bottom of the 8th inninng, when John Rozich hit a long fly ball to left that looked to be leaving the yard, when Minnesota left fielder Jeff Matycynski made a spectacular leaping catch crashing over the fence as he went. ISC-TV centerfield cameraman Gerry Betz was right on top of the action, giving ISC-TV viewers around the world an up-close-look at the play that will live on in ISC lore. Karl Gollan came on in relief after the home run for PA Power, striking out two, taking the game’s tally to 46 on the night. Cleary (24), Potoliccio (20) and Gollan (2).<\/p>\n

Minnesota advances to face the California A’s tonight at 7pm, while PA Power’s run at the 2011 ISC World Championship comes to an end, with the 8th ranked team finishing in 7th place.<\/p>\n
