Background checks are NOT required. Given its international flavor and the uniqueness of this event, this tournament has always been handled differently than any other AAU-sanctioned event. Nothing has changed from the previous years\u2019 tournaments.  <\/p>\n<p>It has always been a requirement for AAU events that each participant become a member of the AAU to ensure the event is properly insured.
