The date also marks the retirement of longtime SCIFL commissioner Robert Hernandez.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.meridix.com\/everywhere.php?liveid=ballparkradio\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/ballparkradio.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/Listen_Live.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"Listen_Live\" width=\"131\" height=\"33\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-803\" \/><\/a>\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/place\/Little+Lake+Park\/@33.932923,-118.079991,18z\/data=!3m1!4b1!4m2!3m1!1s0x80c2d2efcaaef035:0x6092e4c16f6bd27c\">Little Lake Park in Santa Fe Springs CA is located at 10900 Pioneer Blvd, Santa Fe Springs, CA 90670<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>The tribute will feature a number of speakers, honoring Dave Blackburn for his contributions to the game, including his work as a pioneer of live audio and video streaming broadcasts of men&#8217;s fastpitch games.  <\/p>\n<p>Dave Blackburn was inducted into the ISC Hall Of Fame in 2011, and passed away in May 2014.<\/p>\n<p>The tribute ceremony will be live audio streamed on Ballpark Radio, whose founding was inspired by Dave Blackburn.  A game featuring Dave&#8217;s former team, Maccabi USA will also be live (audio) streamed on Ballpark Radio at 12:30 PM Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>All fastpitch players, fans and friends of Dave are invited to attend.<\/p>\n<p>Those unable to attend but who wish to share a memory or comment about Dave Blackburn are invited to leave a voicemail message at Ballpark Radio, to be included in the on air coverage Saturday.
