DC 3 Cheers are aiming for a third straight title, but one thing is for sure – the 2014 Sr. Canadian Champion will hail from Newfoundland.<\/p>\n

DC 3 Cheers sealed their trip to the finals with a win last night with a 10-0 waxing of Host Fawcetts 10-0, with DC’s Sean Cleary tossing a 2 hit shutout, striking out 12 and walking 2.<\/p>\n

In the semi-final, Host Fawcetts fought to stay alive and get back to the championship game, but ran into another fine pitching performance by their opponent. <\/p>\n

NL Kellys Pub cruised to a 7-0 win this morning over the Host Fawcetts team of Charlottetown PEI. Robbie Greene of NL Kellys tossed a shutouts, surrendering just two hits, while striking out 8 and walking 1. The NL Kellys Pub offense scored their 7 runs with two crooked numbers, 4 in the 4th and 3 more in the 6th. <\/p>\n
